I was wondering if you listened to their earlier stuff...You can totally tell the difference in her tone from her earlier stuff and her most recent stuff, though. It's kinda neat.
I love all of the albums, but some of my favorite songs were off their first two. She really did grow into her voice alot; it's got more substance to it.
