In seminary this morning, we talked about the commandment "thou shalt not covet," which means not being jealous of other people's stuff. We decided that if we're grateful for what we have, then we won't want anybody else's stuff so much.

I've been keeping a grateful journal, and I can testify to this.

So if you find yourself unhappy a lot, I challenge you to keep a grateful journal. =)

the end!

ps- http://bloomingwriter.blogspot.com/ quite the interesting blog. I'll admit, it does go on about a lot of plant technicalities, but I like reading about it all.

=D

I got a camera! It's soooo exciting. It's a canon powershot SD1000. Pictures to come, I just got it a couple hours ago.

Which leads to another surprise: I went shopping on Black Friday! Oh, the horrors! =Þ

Well, sorta. Not really. We bought it online, but went to the store to pick it up. All in all, pretty painless procedure. (Thank goodness!)

Yep, so far it's interesting to experiment with this. I'm actually reading the manual before I try going out to take a lot of photos of stuff. (Surprise! I almost never read the manual!) Good thing, too... I really don't think I have enough time to go out and learn it all on my own. o.O

It's nifty. There's so many different settings and such, it makes me happy. Especially the "foliage" setting. Woo, now I can take good pictures on nature walks and such! xD

Yep. Today's a good day. Yesterday wasn't so bad, either. We went to the neighbor's house for Thanksgiving dinner, and Tia and her family was there. It was nice seeing them again. And dinner was awesome, too! Good yams. Yummmm. =)

And then I slept like a rock, after all that turkey. ^.^

And now I've got to go finish my application for BYU. Exciting. Then I'll be done with ALL MY APPLICATIONS! FOREVER! AHAHAHA! *phew.*

Okay, I'm off now. =)

yeah.

we used to laugh a lot / but only because we thought that everything good always would remain

I'm not ready for this. the end.

we talk about it a lot, as seniors, I think. could be good, could be bad.

...

But I wish that it would hurry up and get here.

The suspense/anticipation is killing me.

So, I had a major PURGING moment, and I just deleted over 20 artists in my iTunes. Not to mention the deletion of about 50(+) songs.

Okay, yes, there were a couple of artists/songs that you guys sent to me to enjoy. DON'T HATE ME. I just didn't think those songs would be given the attention they might deserve, so I got rid of them. (Like Skillet, Depswa, Evanescence, Maroon5, Linkin Park, things of the sort.)

Want me to explain? Mmmmk. Lyrics and the type of music I listen to have a HUGE affect on my mood. So if the music's depressing, I'm gonna come out depressed. So I got rid of the overly depressing stuff.

What? So my taste in music is a LOT different than yours. Doesn't mean we still can't share music we like. It just means that I won't keep it for long if it's depressing.

Just an update, I suppose. Like anyone cares. lol.

This place is dead. x.x

Music is LIFE. and life is good. =)

IMEA is a week from today!!!!

I'm both excited and nervous already. Ack! I'm gonna start cramming practices in as much as I can this week. I can't wait! =)

And yay for Pandora Radio. It's pretty cool - I'm finding a ton of music that fits me and that fits the "happy-feel-good" music. (Since I need more of that... I like being happy, so I need more happy music.)

Woo! And since Christmas is coming, I'll be able to ask for some of these CDs! =D I better start making that list. >.>

Yep, a short and sweet post.

HAPPY NOVEMBER!

yeah, so today in School of Rock we were talking about "happy feel-good songs" and I was writing one, and I was like, "what rhymes with grin?" and somehow I came up with COW-TIPPING and me, Erin, and Lisa were laughing about it for like, half an hour. It was amazing. And then I couldn't stop laughing so I was listening to Lisa, and she said something and to me it sounded like "a song about diarrhea," and so then I couldn't stop laughing about that too!

And today has basically been an amazing day.

Regardless that I forgot my lunch today and that I probably didn't get enough sleep last night which basically accounts for my terrible grammar today. XD

*INHALE*

I totally said that in one breathe just now. *INHALE-GASP*
