what is this world coming to?

But before I get onto that, HAPPY WEEKEND! =D

Okay, now that that's over and done with, what is this world coming to????

I was looking at the paper this morning in the movie section, and 11 out of 20 movies were rated R. Then, out of the 9 remaining, only 3 were PG, which means 6 were PG-13. (For those of you who've seen Across the Universe, even some PG-13 movies are not up to standard.)

Which translates to my lack of wanting to go out to movies.

Now, you may be saying, Stupid religion! It's just PG-13 for a little this and a little that, so it's okay, right?

Wrong.

I don't want to see or hear any of the violence, nudity, swearing, or any of the other crap that often appears in movies that you all want me to go out and see. I don't want to feel like crap after coming out of a movie because of what I saw in the entire movie.

Don't even say the sentence "religion rules are strict, you don't have to pay attention to it."

It's not even that. our "rules" are guidelines to help us. I choose to abide by them, so don't talk to me about R rated movies, and even some PG-13 movies. I've decided that if I'm going to go out to a PG-13 movie, I'm going to check why it's rated PG-13.

So even while "V for Vendetta" looked like a really cool movie, I am NOT EVER going to stoop low enough to see it.

Sorry! End of discussion. If you ever tell me to see a rated R movie, I'm getting mad at you and chewing you out.

Anyways. The date went well last night. Mike looked really scary in his dress.... >.> But it was still amazing. Good job to them! =)

And on top of that, Bryson had a lot of fun, too. He said he'd already seen it done professionally at Navy Pier, but he had more fun at ours. Again, a "way to go" to the drama people! =)

And I think that's a long enough post for now.

Yup. Guess what happened today, guys!

Someone asked me if I had a boyfriend. I said yes, since wednesday, and he said, "Since Wednesday? Why didn't you tell me?"

Duh. Because anyone and everyone who matters to me already knows. Sorry, bud, but it's the solid truth.

First come, first serve, people. Of course, I've never had a second thought to having two boyfriends at once (what? we're not getting married, we're not cheating!), but then people would think I'm a slut or something. =O

And then some other people said I act differently when I'm in a relationship as to when I'm not.

What's up with that? I don't think I act differently, or talk about anything different. I don't think I turn into a whole other PERSON when I'm in a relationship.

I hope not. I mean, I don't try to have the entire conversation around him. Heck, I try to keep him out of the entire thing, if possible. But you know how things are, I guess.

Yup, my email hates me and it won't send a request for a letter of reccomendation to my teacher. Grr. =\

I MADE IMEA!

ahaha, while typing that, I screwed up the letters I was typing so fast. E-I-E-I-O, right!

it was intense yesterday, Tia (from school) said that Leeb would have results by the end of the day. so after school, me and little Dan (bongo man) were sitting in the band room talking with Rachel (drum major) and Leeb came in and out of the band room like, three times, and each time me and Dan just stared at him or at each other. and then eventually Leeb came over and my heart just started pounding... and then he's like "I'm pleased to tell you that you will be playing in the district band." and then the rest of the night went crazy. =)

So eventually we'll find out the date and what chair I am, and then all you band people can come for patron of the arts, wot. (and it'll count for both, since it'll be "professional or better than our band" and live. but darnit, I'm in it, so it won't count for me. =\ lol.)

anyways, I'm off to do college applications and whatnot..... gah, I'm hoping to send them all in by Monday.

mrawr, to college craziness.

I'm feeling a mood swing coming on. Or perhaps it's because I'm exhausted and I need sleep. Sheesh, IMEA really took it out of me yesterday. Speaking of which, auditions went VERY WELL. Thank you God, and everyone else who prayed for me yesterday. =) It helped a lot.

I'm going to start posting lyrics that I'm writing on here, and then I'll ask for your feedback. It'll be fun, I'm sure! And then you'll want me to mass produce it and stick it on your iPod or something. =P not really, but I wish. hahaha.

Oh! but then I could have Mike come up with a tune, because he's got a lot of amazing songs in his head. <3 have you ever heard his stuff? majorly cool and amazing. =D

back to my resume, now.... I guess.... gah, this is taking forever. =\ -yawn.-

I want to work on my story. =\ Anne, if you have a lot of time in the near future, let me know. I'd like you to read what I have so far. =)
